Birds

A small flock of Bullfinch were feeding on early buds and seeds in a hedgerow in Falmouth this morning. Even in the poor light the males with their sleek black caps and pink breasts were as stunning as ever.

It’s disappointing that it’s rare these days to see the large flocks that were once quite common in the countryside.
