Birds

There may have been lots of rare Cornish migrant birds about at the moment but we have failed miserably to get any decent photographs of any – so had to make do with a Great Tit in the lounge!

Once caught it went into a state of shock before slowly coming round when placed on a wall outside in the garden and eventually flying off unscathed by its adventure.

Insight into Great Tit (Parus major): the largest British tit, it is a woodland bird but commonly seen in gardens throughout the UK.
