Birds

Three Sanderling were doing their thing, rushing up and down the beach with the rise and fall of the water. While crouching down within a few feet of these energetic little waders I was unaware my antics had attracted the attention of 3 inquisitive Grey Seal, their heads popping up in the surf just a few metres away.

Insight: A strong migrant that flies south from its breeding grounds in the High Arctic to winter as far south as Africa, Australia and South America.
