Both. These Shetland Ponies are on the southern most tip of Cornwall, well it’s the most southerly point of the British mainland actually. They’re on the Lizard cliffs on the southern side of the lighthouse so there really isn’t much further they could go.

Insight: The National Trust says “Grazing is a traditional way of managing cliff land and the ponies are of benefit to the Lizard’s famous rare flora and fauna because they reduce bramble and coarse grasses.”
